Why Ron Weasley will always and forever be my favorite character

sheshedsherskinonstage:

Ron is completely written off by a lot of this fanbase and it sucks. The movies didn’t do him justice. Ron is a hero. He shows unfailing bravery and loyalty throughout the whole series. At any time he could’ve said, “Screw this, this is too dangerous.” and left, but he didn’t.

I identify with Ron because he’s the one everyone always forgets. He’s not the smartest. He’s not The Chosen One. Slughorn can’t even remember his name. It’s how I’ve felt my entire life. I’ve always felt like the second best in my group of friends. The one no one ever seems to see or hear.

When Ron leaves during Deathly Hallows, I completely understand how he felt. He was scared and ignored by his friends. So many times I’ve wanted to walk away from the people in my life because they just plain don’t hear me.

But above all, Ron is full of love. I think more than any of the characters. He wants to save his family, the girl he loves and his best friend. He doesn’t have any ‘special’ skills like Hermione and Harry but he’s ready to fight with what he has.

Ron represents all the anger I’ve felt throughout my life when no one would listen or see me. When I felt like I wasn’t useful or special. He’s the one character that I completely and utterly identify with at all times.

And that’s why Ron kicks ass.

I was trying to explain this to Kyle the other day and it’s just always relevant.

015. My brother drives an old ass Subaru that can’t go over 55 so whenever he’s driving, we scream “Go faster, you fat sack of shit!”

Oh my God I forgot we did this I’m dying

Basically I’m just going to build a giant army of freshman who like Panic! at the Disco because none of my friends seem to like them except for Haley but she’s doing full time classes at the college now.

Spoiler alert: I found fellow Panic! fans. They weren’t freshman though.

The awkward thing about drama club shirts

sheshedsherskinonstage:

Is that we could all be matching on any given day.

I mean, thats ok on opening night and we all wear our shirts to school.

But on any normal day, you walk in and you’re like “There’s my ex-boyfriend/friend/person who annoys me, and they’re wearing their “The Folks Next Door” shirt today.”

Awesome.

Reblogging this because that actually happened on the day I posted this.
